Is Pathuma free to use?
Yes. Registering, creating a profile, and browsing other profiles is completely free. The moment you finish your profile we activate the Free Starter plan — 1 interest per week with no expiry — so you can start reaching out right away. Standard and Pro upgrades are optional and let you send many more interests per week.
How do I contact a profile I am interested in?
When you find a profile you like, send an Interest. The other person can Accept or Reject. If they accept, you instantly see their contact details (phone number, email, address, horoscope) and can reach out directly.
Are the profiles verified?
We take measures to verify profiles, but we also encourage users to do their own due diligence. We review every profile before it goes live to ensure it meets our community guidelines.
Can I hide my profile?
Yes, you can temporarily hide your profile from search results if you want to take a break. You can also permanently delete your account at any time.
How much does it cost?
Free Starter (1 interest/week) is included for every member with no expiry. If you want more, Standard is LKR 500 for a 30-day window with 10 interests/week, and Pro is LKR 1,000 for a 30-day window with 25 interests/week and priority in search results. Latest prices are always shown on the Pricing page.
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. We prioritize your privacy and security. Your sensitive contact information is encrypted at rest and only shared with users whose Interest you have accepted.
What happens when my Standard or Pro plan ends?
Your account drops back to the Free Starter plan automatically — there is no service interruption. You can still receive interests, accept matches, and send up to your Free weekly allowance. You can renew or upgrade any time.
Will my profile be shown publicly? How do Featured Profiles work?
Approved members who keep their profile photo public may appear in the “Featured Profiles” section on our homepage, where a limited preview — your photo, display name, age, profession, and city — can be seen by visitors who are not signed in. Your contact details are never shown. If you’d rather not appear there, make your photos private in profile settings; private profiles are excluded from the public Featured Profiles section.
Will Pathuma send me emails?
Yes. A valid email address is required at sign-up, and we send service emails to it — a welcome message, your profile review outcome (approved / changes requested / rejected), when someone sends or accepts an Interest, and payment updates. These are operational notifications, not marketing. They come from a no-reply address; for anything you need, contact us on WhatsApp or at support@pathuma.lk. If they’re not arriving, check your spam folder.
Can I keep my photos private?
Yes. In your profile settings you can make your profile picture and additional photos private. Your photos are then hidden from search, previews, and the public Featured Profiles section, and are shown only to members you have connected with (i.e. someone whose Interest you accepted). Your profile still appears in search with your other details and a “Private profile” label, so you stay discoverable while your photos remain private. Tip: keeping your photos public helps members trust your profile and tends to get you noticeably more interests.
